Under Geir's leadership, Neural Audio has gone from a start-up to a leading audio technology company providing solutions for the creation, distribution and playback of music, movies, broadcast programs and video games. Through Neural-THX(r) Surround, the world's fastest growing new surround sound format, and other audio signal processing technologies, Neural Audio improves how consumers experience audio in the home, automobile and through portable devices.

Geir received a BA in Finance from the University of Oregon, a Business degree from the Norwegian School of Management and an MBA from the University of Washington. He is an active member and acknowledged public speaker at industry forums such as NAMM, AES, GDC and SMPTE.
