Jonathan S. Abrams AES Broadcast 2008 | Aug 1, 2008, 13:55
Jonathan is the Chief Technical Engineer at Nutmeg Audio Post, where he
is the sole individual responsible for maintaining and advancing the
facility's technical infrastructure. His audio post credits include
mixing for Erica Lutzker's "Orbiting Pluto" (independent), ADR for Sean
Reilly's "Amy's Rules" (independent), ADR and mixing for "Red", a
Panman/Soljan and Time Will Tell production, and the recording of Aaron
Eckhardt's commentary for the DVD release of Thank You for Smoking. He
has also been interviewed for articles in Post Magazine and has written
for Broadcast Engineering magazine as well. Jonathan has a B.M., Summa
Cum Laude with University Honors, in Music Production and Technology
from the University of Hartford (2001) and a M.M. in Music Technology
from New York University (2005), where his thesis was the creation of a
8x2 mixer using Cycling 74's Max/MSP. Jonathan has served as Treasurer
for the New York section of the AES since 2005.
