Andrew Mason joined the British Broadcasting Corporation's Engineering
Research Department in 1986. Whilst there he has worked on both audio
and video projects, hardware and software, including low bit-rate audio
coding, audio and video watermarking, and most recently multi-channel
audio broadcasting, audio/video synchronisation, and subjective loudness metering and control. He is a member of the AES, a participant in
AES Standards Committee working groups SC-02-02 and SC-02-01, and
a member of the executive committee of the AES UK section.
